Privacy Policy

Zaptox ("we", "us", "our") is built and operated by Wixzel. This policy describes what we collect when you use the Zaptox mobile app or zaptox.app, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
We only collect what we need to make Zaptox work.

We do not collect SMS, contacts, browsing history, location, or any other dangerous permission category not listed above.
How we use your information
- Run the app: authenticate you, sync tasks, deliver calls.
- Operate AI coaches: generate scripts, run TTS / STT during calls, schedule calls.
- Support: respond to your emails to hello@zaptox.app.
- Comply with the law and protect against abuse.
We do not sell your information, run targeted advertising, or share your data with data brokers.
Third-party services
Zaptox uses these providers strictly to operate the features above:
- Google — Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing.
- Twilio — places phone calls.
- ElevenLabs — generates coach voice (TTS).
- Deepgram — transcribes your speech during calls (STT).
- OpenAI — generates coach scripts and decisions.
- Dodo Payments — processes web subscriptions (not used inside the Android app).
Each provider operates under its own privacy policy and processing agreement.
Where data is stored
App data is stored on servers we operate. Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS / TLS 1.2+ for HTTP traffic, WSS for in-app voice).
Retention
- Account, task, and subscription data: as long as your account is active.
- Coach call audio is not retained after the call ends. Only the resulting transcript and metadata (duration, outcome) are kept.
- Verification photos: retained as long as the task exists; deleting the task deletes its photos.
- Firebase / push tokens: deleted when you sign out or uninstall.
Your rights
You can:
- Access or correct your data — email hello@zaptox.app, response within 30 days.
- Delete your account and all associated data — email hello@zaptox.app from the address tied to your account, or use Settings → Account → Delete inside the app.
- Manage your Google Play subscription in the Play Store. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Manage your web (Dodo) subscription by contacting hello@zaptox.app.
If you are in the EEA, UK, California, or another region with data protection laws granting additional rights (portability, objection to processing, complaint to a regulator), those rights apply to you and we will honour them.
Children
Zaptox is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe we have, email hello@zaptox.app and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify you in-app or by email before the change takes effect.
